Virtual Wound Rounds


The Virtual Wound Rounds webinar series was developed for Physical Therapy students who were unable to participate in their wound rotations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Frank Aviles Jr., PT, CWS, FACCWS, CLT, ALM, AWCC, has brought together an interdisciplinary teams of wound experts for this webinar series. They were questioned on how to handle a variety of clinical issues including; diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries, wound dressings, nutrition, wound infections, etc., in order to help educate students, and practicing clinicians, interested in learning more about becoming a specialized wound practitioner.
