Dr. Kim is a MedStar Georgetown University Hospital podiatric physician who is board certified in foot surgery and reconstructive ankle surgery. Dr. Kim works with patients of all ages, often dealing with conditions such as chronic infections and wounds due to diabetes. Dr. Kim focuses on a team approach to care, developing long-term relationships with patients and their families. His personal interest in the latest technology is also evident in his approach to care. He combines expertise and current research with a willingness to use leading-edge innovations to help patients reach and maintain their functional goals.
As the director of research for the Department of Plastic Surgery Wound Center, Dr. Kim is an active contributor to research in his field. He has published and presented extensively and has contributed to numerous books. Dr. Kim also has a master's degree in clinical research management. In addition to caring for patients and research, Dr. Kim is also an associate professor of plastic surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine.
